PUBLIC NOTICE

Public Hearing Regarding Cable Franchise Renewal for The Borough of Shiremanstown Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Shiremanstown will hold a public hearing regarding cable franchise renewal. The public hearing will take place on September 14, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Shiremanstown Borough Hall located at One Park Lane. Citizens are invited to testify. The purpose of the public hearing is to review the past performance of the cable operator, Comcast, and to identify the future cable-related community needs of the Borough. Small Town Proud

Incorporated in the heart of the Cumberland Valley in 1874 by Daniel Shireman, the Borough of Shiremanstown has retained it's small town proud image for over 130 years. Goverened by 7 elected Council Members and a Mayor, the Borough maintains an independant police force, codes enforcement office, and a volunteer fire department. The Borough Offices are located at 1 Park Lane in the northeast quadrant of the Borough bordering Memorial Park.
